The Heald Green Volunteer Fundraising Committee is once again hosting its annual Quizmasters event in support of Moya Cole Hospice. This year, the event will take place on Friday, June 12 at Cheadle Hulme Conservative Club. Doors open at 7pm, with the quiz starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £15 per person and include a delicious chili supper, with a vegetarian option also available. A fully licensed bar will be on site, and raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Little Hulton Joins In
Following the success of the Heald Green Quizmasters, the Little Hulton Volunteer Fundraising Committee has decided to host its own version. The Little Hulton Quizmasters event will be held on Friday, May 29 at the Royal British Legion in Boothstown, also with a 7pm arrival for a 7.30pm start. Tickets are £12.50 per person and include a Carrs pasty supper—a local favorite in Salford—with choices of meat and potato, cheese and onion, or veggie, served with mushy peas. Raffle tickets and a tombola will offer additional prizes.
Supporting Hospice Care
Moya Cole Hospice provides holistic care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, including inpatient care, day therapy, and supportive outpatient services from its sites in Heald Green, Stockport, and Little Hulton, Salford. The hospice also offers community and outreach services, such as Hospice at Home in Salford and Trafford, a Community Specialist Palliative Care Team in Salford, and a homelessness palliative care service in Manchester. A 24-hour telephone advice line is available for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals in Salford, Manchester, Trafford, and Stockport.
