On Wednesday, April 15, more than 60 guests gathered at Rossendale Sports Club for a fundraiser supporting GAND AID UK, a national children's charity based in Rossendale. The event was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Rossendale and raised a substantial sum, with additional donations received online.
Event Highlights
Attendees enjoyed a pie and peas supper, along with a table quiz, a raffle, and a 'heads & tails' competition. Guests also had the opportunity to try their luck on Rossendale Rotary's 'Human Fruit Machine'. A 50-inch Samsung TV was auctioned, further boosting the funds raised.
Charity Founder Thanks Supporters
At the close of the evening, Rebecca Selby, founder and Trustee of GAND AID UK, expressed gratitude to all who attended for their support and generosity. More information about the charity and its mission can be found at www.gandaiduk.org.
