Taylor Wimpey Challenge Celebrates 12 Years of Giving
Now in its 12th year, the Taylor Wimpey Challenge has so far raised over £1.6 million for the Youth Adventure Trust (YAT), a charity that inspires vulnerable young people through outdoor adventure, as well as other regional charities across the country.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, more than 300 Taylor Wimpey employees across 49 teams completed a hike along the north Devon coastline, followed by a series of competitive creative and strategic tasks.
Funds Allocated to Local and National Charities
Money raised by two teams from Taylor Wimpey East Anglia will be donated to the Youth Adventure Trust and East Anglia Children’s Hospice (EACH), which provides care and support across a range of services to children and their families.
Chris Westbrook, Sales Executive at Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “The Taylor Wimpey Challenge is always a fantastic event. Not only does it bring together employees from across the business, but more importantly, it raises a huge amount of money for extremely worthy charities. This year has been no different and I’m extremely proud of our teams for their effort in raising much-needed donations for the YAT and East Anglia Children’s Hospice.”
Mark Davey, CEO at the Youth Adventure Trust, said: “It has been another fantastic year for the Taylor Wimpey Challenge, with all of the participants embracing the activities with camaraderie and a great sense of humour. As always, we’re very appreciative of their efforts in support of our mission to help young people fulfil their potential and lead positive lives. Funding from this year’s event will make a huge difference to us, and we look forward to continuing our partnership into 2027.”
