Tributes to Coventry Dad and Boxing Coach Paul Seymour

Loving tributes and flowers have been laid in memory of a much-loved Midland dad, Paul Seymour, who tragically died on Monday, May 4, at the age of 61. Known for his infectious 'big smile', Paul was a well-known figure in the Longford community of Coventry, having dedicated many years to coaching boxing and supporting people on their fitness journeys.

Heartfelt Messages Left Outside Capitol Gym

Tributes were placed outside Longford's Capitol Gym, where Paul spent years helping others achieve their fitness goals. In a poignant note from his ex-partner, Sammy Bargin Nelson, she expressed her gratitude and sorrow: 'So sorry you have left us so soon. Thank you for the years and guidance you gave to our son. I promise I will take care of our son for you. You will be forever missed. I could not have asked for a better dad for our boy.'

Colleagues and Friends Remember Paul

Colleagues described Paul as 'truly special'. Pal Sam Newton said: 'You will be greatly missed. A true friend and a gentleman.' Another message from Mandy, Matt, Nala and Dolly read: 'Longford will never be the same without your big smile. Rest easy in paradise.'
