Details of the robbery

According to the police appeal, the robbery occurred at around 2:30am on Sunday, 27 November. The victim, a man, was walking along Broad Street when he was approached by two suspects who demanded his mobile phone. The suspects then stole the phone and fled the scene.

Police have described the suspects as two men, both wearing dark clothing. No further description of the suspects has been released at this stage. The victim was not physically injured during the incident, but has been left shaken by the ordeal.

Police appeal for information
