BTP seek boy after teen robbed at knifepoint on train

British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for information to identify a boy who is wanted in connection with a knifepoint robbery on a train travelling between Solihull and Warwick.

Robbery on the train

The incident occurred at approximately 2:45pm on Wednesday, 12 August, when the teenage victim was on the train with his bicycle. According to BTP, the victim was approached by a boy who demanded the bike and produced a knife. The suspect threatened the victim before taking the bicycle and disembarking at Warwick station.

The victim was not physically injured but was left shaken by the ordeal, police said.

Description of the stolen bike

The stolen bicycle is described as a black Trek Slash mountain bike, fitted with Continental tyres and silver brake levers. Officers believe the youth pictured in the image released by BTP may have information that could assist their enquiries.
