A Spree of 11 Offences Across the Region
The organised group was linked to a total of 11 criminal offences between November and December 2023. Their crime spree included six incidents in Redditch and Bromsgrove, four in the Solihull area, and one in Leamington.
The investigation concluded when the gang was arrested while inside a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Detective Constable Jodi Lothian of West Mercia Police commented on the case, stating: “We're pleased to get these custodial sentences and guilty verdicts for this car key burglary gang who targeted the north Worcestershire area in 2023, concluding our investigation.”
DC Lothian added a firm warning: “We take vehicle crime seriously and will continue to hunt down and prosecute those stealing vehicles from our force area.” This case highlights the continued efforts of police to tackle organised vehicle theft and bring perpetrators to justice.
