West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following a car break-in in Birmingham, during which bank cards were stolen and later used in nearby shops.

Incident Details

The theft occurred on Wednesday, April 8, on Monument Road in Ladywood. A vehicle was broken into, and various belongings, including bank cards, were taken. One of the stolen cards was subsequently used at shops in the vicinity.

CCTV Image and Description

The man in the CCTV image is described as black, with a black beard, and wearing glasses. He was pictured wearing a red, hooded coat, a black hat, a white shirt, and a buttoned-up cardigan.

Police Appeal

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: “We are looking to speak to this man after a theft in Birmingham. On April 8 this year, a number of items, including bank cards, were stolen from a car parked in Monument Road, Ladywood. One of the cards was later used in nearby shops. We are looking to speak to this man, or anyone who thinks they know who he is.”
