Police have made five arrests following a significant drug raid at a property in the Black Country, where a haul of heroin and crack cocaine was confiscated.
Major Drug Haul Discovered in Morning Raid
Officers from West Midlands Police executed a warrant at an address on Trinity Street in West Bromwich on the morning of Tuesday, December 30, 2025. During the operation, they recovered more than 100 individual wraps containing what is suspected to be Class A drugs.
The substances are believed to be a combination of heroin and crack cocaine. A spokesperson for the force confirmed the team acted on intelligence received from the community.
Arrests Made as Suspect Attempts to Flee
Four men and one woman were detained at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. The individuals arrested are:
- A 21-year-old man
- A 24-year-old man
- A 35-year-old man
- A 40-year-old man
- A 45-year-old woman
One of the men attempted to evade officers but was swiftly apprehended in the rear garden of the property. All five suspects remain in police custody for questioning.
Further Items Seized and Police Appeal
In addition to the drugs, officers from the West Bromwich neighbourhood team also seized a suspected stolen motorbike and various tools from the address.
A police spokesperson emphasised the wider impact of such activities, stating: "Drugs can ruin lives and fuel further crime and we're taking regular action to tackle supply networks."
