Flooding at Mill Lane Arcade inside Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull has caused a delayed opening today, June 24, as staff work to resolve the issue. The rest of the shopping centre remains open as usual.
Apology Issued to Customers
Touchwood Shopping Centre has apologised to shoppers for the inconvenience caused by the flooding. A spokesperson stated: "There will be a delayed opening on Mill Lane Arcade this morning while our team deals with flooding. The rest of the centre is open as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
Impact on Stores and Shoppers
The arcade houses several retailers, including Superdrug Pharmacy and Jewellers Solihull, among others. The centre, which features over 90 stores and restaurants, has not specified when the arcade will reopen. Shoppers are advised to check for updates or visit the rest of the centre as normal.
