Flowers have been placed at the site of a tragic road accident in Lye, where a man lost his life when his vehicle collided with a wall.
Details of the Incident
The victim, a man in his 40s, was driving a silver car on Balds Lane on Monday morning, June 15. The vehicle struck a wall near the junction with Gibbs Road.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 9:30 am. Paramedics found the driver in a critical condition, with police officers and members of the public already performing CPR.
Despite their efforts, the man could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
