Four Men Arrested Following Violent Attack on Police Officers in Tyseley
West Midlands Police have confirmed the arrest of four individuals after officers were subjected to a brutal assault during a violent disorder incident in the Tyseley area of Birmingham. The disturbing event unfolded near Matlock Road shortly after 12:15 PM on Monday, February 23.
Officers Suffer Multiple Injuries During Response

"In Birmingham and across the region, attacks on officers represent attacks on our communities, which is why we don't hesitate in dealing robustly with those who do assault police," DCI Mahon continued. "The completely unacceptable violence that these officers suffered yesterday stemmed from previous violence they had been called to deal with, and we are carrying out a full range of enquiries into this."
