Man attacked outside Birmingham bars suffers eye injury

Detectives have released CCTV images of three men they want to identify after a vicious assault in Birmingham city centre left a man with a fractured eye socket. The victim, in his 30s, was attacked at the junction of New Street and Temple Street at around 9.35pm on April 4.

Details of the assault

The man was rushed to hospital with an eye injury following the attack, which occurred outside bars in the busy city centre area. West Midlands Police have been conducting enquiries and are now appealing to the public for help identifying the three suspects pictured in the CCTV images.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We need your help identifying these three men after an assault in Birmingham on April 4. The victim, in his 30s, was at the junction of New Street and Temple Street when he was assaulted by three men. He was left with a fractured eye socket and needed hospital treatment. We've been carrying out a number of enquiries since, and now want to speak to these three men."

Suspect description

All three men were pictured with short, dark hair. Anyone who recognises them is urged to contact police.
