A motorcyclist in his 20s has died following a crash between a Honda motorbike and an Audi A3 on the B4396 near Knockin in Shropshire. The incident occurred at around 4pm on Wednesday, June 24, according to West Mercia Police.
Emergency Response and Fatality
Emergency services attended the scene, but despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead shortly after the collision. The motorcyclist's next of kin have been informed, and formal identification is pending.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
West Mercia Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the vehicles prior to the incident to come forward. A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly lost his life following a collision in Shropshire yesterday (June 24). The collision happened around 4pm when a Honda motorbike and Audi A3 collided on the B4396, near Knockin. Despite the best efforts by emergency services, the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene."
