Police have launched an appeal for information following a devastating crash on the M6 in Staffordshire that claimed a man's life. The incident occurred on the northbound carriageway between junctions 14 and 15, near Stafford, and involved a single vehicle.
The driver, a man whose identity has not yet been formally released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency services were called to the motorway shortly after the collision was reported, but despite their efforts, the man could not be saved.

The crash took place on the M6 northbound between junction 14 (Stafford) and junction 15 (Stoke-on-Trent). It is understood that the vehicle left the carriageway and struck a roadside barrier, causing fatal injuries to the driver.
Staffordshire Police have confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the collision. The motorway was closed for several hours while accident investigators examined the scene and recovered the vehicle, leading to significant disruption for motorists.
Witness Appeal
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident or the moments leading up to it to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak to anyone with dashcam footage that could assist with the investigation.
