The man pictured is clean-shaven and was captured wearing a black baseball cap featuring a red logo. He appears to be dressed in a black or dark blue gilet jacket over a black long-sleeved top. A distinctive pendant on a chain is also visible. In one image, he is seen grinning while looking out of a bus window.

Police Statement and Public Appeal

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: "We are investigating after receiving reports that a man in his late 60s was assaulted while travelling on a bus on Grove Lane, Birmingham. The victim was on the number 11 bus on 8 February, shortly after 10.25am when a man punched him from behind, breaking his glasses and causing a piece of glass to break into his face."

The spokesperson continued: "Following CCTV enquiries, we are now asking for the public's help to identify the man in the images as we believe he could help us with our investigation.
