Police Launch Urgent Appeal to Identify Woman in West Bromwich Fraud Case
West Midlands Police have issued a public appeal, urging anyone who recognises a woman captured on CCTV to call 999 immediately. This urgent request follows a distressing incident where a vulnerable man from West Bromwich was scammed out of thousands of pounds.

The victim, a resident of West Bromwich, was targeted in a scam last month. Following the initial fraud, his bank cards were subsequently used in transactions in the areas of Selly Oak and Solihull, indicating a broader criminal activity. Police have now released four CCTV images of a woman they wish to speak to in connection with this case.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: "Recognise this woman? We’d like to speak to her after a vulnerable man from West Bromwich was defrauded out of thousands of pounds. It happened last month, and the man’s bank cards were later used in Selly Oak and Solihull. If you recognise the woman, or can help our enquiries, call 999, quoting crime reference 20/182643/26."
The force is treating this matter with high priority due to the vulnerability of the victim and the significant financial loss involved.
