Police Appeal for Information After Tamworth Home Vandalised
Staffordshire Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses after a residential property in Tamworth suffered significant criminal damage. The incident occurred in the Bolehall area of the town, specifically at a home located off Amington Road.
Discovery of Extensive Damage
The householder returned to his property at approximately 7pm on Thursday, January 29, only to discover that every window in the home had been deliberately smashed. The resident had been away and made the distressing find upon his return. Police were alerted to the scene shortly after the discovery was made.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police confirmed the details, stating: "We were called at around 7pm on Thursday to a property in Bolehall following reports of criminal damage. A man reported that he had just returned home to a house off Amington Road when he realised every window in the property had been smashed."
Descriptions of Two Men Released
Officers are now keen to trace two individuals who were seen in the vicinity around the time of the incident. The police have issued detailed descriptions in the hope that members of the public can assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as white, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a slim build. He was reportedly wearing dark clothing and a hood at the time.
The second individual is also described as white but of a stockier build. He was seen wearing a distinctive orange jumper. This man is further described as having unkempt hair and a beard.

Local officers are conducting thorough inquiries in the area. The police spokesperson emphasised the importance of community assistance, saying: "Officers are carrying out inquiries locally and urge anyone with relevant information, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to get in touch."
