Police in Leicester have made an arrest following a violent incident in a city park that left two elderly men requiring hospital treatment. The attack, which involved a metal pole as a weapon, occurred in the early hours of a Sunday morning, sending shockwaves through the local community.

Emergency services were called to Castle Gardens in Leicester at approximately 2am on Sunday, January 18, after paramedics discovered two injured men.
