Teen Stabbed in Birmingham Victoria Square: Police Probe

An 18-year-old man was stabbed during a fight between two groups in Birmingham city centre's Victoria Square on Tuesday, June 23, at 8.30pm. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Police Investigation Underway

West Midlands Police have launched a major investigation and sealed off Victoria Square for forensic examinations. Detective Superintendent Lucy Kirwan stated that officers will maintain an increased presence in the area to reassure residents, workers, and visitors.

"The incident happened at a busy time last night, and we know there were a lot of people in the area," she added.

Appeal for Information
