Teenager Seriously Injured in Good Friday Stabbing in Bulwell
A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing incident in Bulwell on Good Friday, April 3, 2026. Emergency services were called to the scene on Coventry Road at approximately 5:30 pm, responding to reports of the assault.
Police Launch Investigation and Appeal for Information
Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed they have launched a full investigation into the stabbing. Officers were dispatched to Coventry Road following the incident, where they established a cordon to gather evidence and secure the area.
Chief Inspector Iain Blackstock of Nottinghamshire Police stated, "This investigation is in its early stages and we are working hard to establish exactly what happened. Officers are working in the area to gather evidence and we would also like to speak to any witnesses who have yet to come forward."
Urgent Call for Witnesses and CCTV Footage
Police are now making a public appeal for anyone with information about the stabbing to step forward. They are particularly interested in speaking to witnesses or obtaining any CCTV footage that could assist the inquiry.
Chief Inspector Blackstock added, "We would ask anyone who has any information or CCTV footage surrounding this incident to get in touch."
