Telford Drug Dealer Jailed After Police Uncover Cannabis Operation
Telford Cannabis Dealer Jailed for Two Years

A Telford man has been sentenced to two years imprisonment after being convicted of drug dealing offences following a police raid on his property.

Police Raid Uncovers Drug Operation

Stefan Farmer, aged 34, was arrested in February 2025 after West Mercia Police executed a warrant at his address in Telford. During the search, officers discovered a significant quantity of cannabis buds stored in an outbuilding.

The cannabis was found vacuum packed and sealed, indicating it was prepared for distribution. Police also seized equipment associated with drug dealing including scales and zip-bags, alongside a substantial amount of cash totalling £50,000.

Court Proceedings and Sentencing

Farmer, of Arleston Avenue in Arleston, Telford, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to two serious offences:

  • Possessing a controlled Class-B drug with intent to supply
  • Acquiring criminal property

On Tuesday, the court handed down a two-year custodial sentence, removing Farmer from the streets of Telford.

Police Response to the Case

Detective Sergeant Andy Pond of West Mercia Police welcomed the sentencing, stating: "I welcome the custodial sentence that has been handed to Farmer - which has taken a drug dealer off the streets of Telford - and protects our communities."

The detective sergeant emphasised the force's stance against drug dealing, adding: "West Mercia Police will not tolerate this activity and we would urge anyone with information about the supply of drugs to please contact us."

A police spokesperson confirmed the details of the case, noting that all items seized during the raid were directly linked to drug supply operations.
