Two Arrested After Monkey Dust Seized in Stafford Raid

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply monkey dust following a police raid in Stafford. Officers from Staffordshire Police carried out a warrant at a property in the Rising Brook area on Friday, June 19, seizing a suspected batch of the Class-B drug, along with suspected stolen property and cash.

Arrests and Charges

A 35-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, both from the Stafford area, were detained at the scene. They remain in police custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class-B drugs, being concerned in the offer to supply Class-A drugs, and handling stolen goods.

Police Operation

The warrant was executed by the County Proactive and Rural Crime Team, supported by the Stafford borough local policing team. Sergeant Craig Beardsley stated: "We continue to do all we can to disrupt the supply of illegal substances across Staffordshire and are working together throughout Neighbourhood Policing Week and beyond to achieve this."
