Two Arrested in Birmingham Following Violent Carjacking Incident
Two individuals have been apprehended by police in Birmingham in connection with a violent carjacking that occurred overnight. The arrests involve a 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both detained on suspicion of robbery following a swift police response to the reported incident.

The carjacking is said to have taken place just over the Birmingham border in the West Mercia Police area shortly after midnight. According to authorities, a man was attacked by two individuals who entered his car, stole from him, and then fled in the vehicle.
West Midlands Police officers, collaborating with West Mercia Police, quickly identified a car linked to the robbery. They tracked the vehicle to the Yardley Wood area, where the Road Crime Team stopped it on Moseley Road just after 1am.
Discovery of Evidence and Ongoing Investigation
During the arrest, a search of the car led to the discovery of a knife and stolen property. Both suspects were taken into custody and remain detained as detectives continue their investigation into the robbery.
