Vandals Spray Paint Bus, Forcing Service Removal

Police have launched an appeal for information after vandals targeted a bus with spray paint in the West Midlands. The incident occurred while the bus was traveling between Brierley Hill and Stourbridge in Dudley, causing it to be removed from service and disrupting passengers on board.

Bus Station Also Targeted

West Midlands Police (WMP) confirmed that Stourbridge bus station was also sprayed with paint during the same spate of vandalism. The incidents took place on the evening of March 6.

WMP has released a photograph of a group of individuals they wish to speak to in connection with the damage. A spokesperson for the force said: "We want to speak to these people after a bus was damaged in Dudley. A group used spray paint to damage the vehicle as it travelled between Brierley Hill and Stourbridge, forcing it to be removed from service. The bus station at Stourbridge was also sprayed with paint."

The vandalism began just after 6:40 pm on March 6. Anyone with information is urged to contact West Midlands Police via Live Chat on their website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 20/175436/26.
