West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following an assault on a woman at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham city centre. The incident occurred during a concert featuring US R&B stars Ne-Yo and Akon.

Details of the Assault

The assault took place in the standing area of the arena at around 10pm on Tuesday 5 May. The woman was attending the concert when she was attacked. Venue security staff responded to the incident at the time and are supporting the police investigation.

Police Appeal

In a public appeal, West Midlands Police said: "Recognise this man? We'd like to speak to him about an assault at Utilita Arena Birmingham. A woman reported being assaulted in the standing area of the Ne-Yo and Akon concert at around 10pm on Tuesday 5 May."

No arrests have been made so far, and inquiries are ongoing. Police are urging anyone who recognises the man in the image or has any information to come forward.
