Three-Legged Cat Violet Overlooked by Adopters Despite Spirited Recovery
Three-Legged Cat Violet Overlooked by Adopters

Violet, a 15-month-old cat, was brought into the care of Cats Protection after volunteers found her injured from a suspected car crash. Vets worked hard to save her life but had to amputate one of her front legs and part of her tail.

Swift Recovery and Adaptability

The spirited pet has made a swift recovery and has adapted incredibly well to her new three-legged life. She can run, climb, and play just like any other cat and does not let her missing limb hold her back.

Overlooked by Families

Sadly, Violet has spent many months in foster care because people looking for a perfect pet keep passing her by. Volunteers hope a local family will soon look past her injuries and offer her a settled home.

Volunteer's Perspective

Josie Ambrose-Davis, area branch development manager, said: "Violet's a spirited cat and that has helped her adjust very well. Having only three legs hasn't stopped lovely Violet enjoying life to the full. She gets around very well; running, climbing and playing like the cat she must have been before the accident and the playful cat she will remain."

Ideal Home

The loving companion would suit a home with older children or other cats where she can get plenty of attention. She also loves fresh air and sunshine, meaning she needs a safe garden where she can relax and explore.
