A father of one was discovered dead in a Midlands field following a party, an inquest has revealed. Danny Emmott's body was located in a field at 10am on December 10 last year. Emergency services were called and confirmed his death.
Inquest Adjourned for Further Investigation
An inquest into the death of the 28-year-old was scheduled to conclude this week but had to be postponed after a coroner requested additional information from police. Staffordshire Police have now been asked to examine Mr Emmott's phone, which was found beneath his body.
Details of the Night Before
Staffordshire and Stoke Coroner's Court heard that Mr Emmott had attended a party the evening prior to his death. Friends at the gathering reported that he had only consumed 'a couple of drinks' and was in a 'merry' mood. They described his behavior as normal, according to StokeonTrentLive.
Friends mentioned that Mr Emmott was looking forward to Christmas and spending time with his daughter. His body was discovered in a field in Madeley, Staffordshire.
