Chilling CCTV Footage Reveals TOWIE Star's Final Moments
Newly released CCTV footage has emerged showing the final moments of The Only Way Is Essex star Jordan Wright before his body was discovered at a construction site in Thailand. The video, which has sparked widespread speculation, captures Wright appearing distressed and frequently glancing over his shoulder as he moves through a hotel complex in Phuket.
Panicked Movements Before Disappearance
In the footage, Jordan Wright can be seen clutching onto a white pick-up truck while frantically sprinting through the hotel grounds. He appears restless and nearly trips during his dash, weaving unpredictably between buildings. Police reports indicate he then ran across rough terrain surrounding the hotel before leaping into a creek approximately 10 feet deep.
After navigating through a shallow stream, Wright is believed to have reached a nearby construction site that lacked CCTV coverage. This is where his body was subsequently found on Saturday, having been at that location for no more than two days according to police confirmation.
Police Investigation and Unclear Circumstances
Lieutenant Colonel Sutthirak Chuthong of Choeng Thale district station stated that the circumstances leading up to Wright's death remain quite unclear. "It is possible that other people were involved," Chuthong said in a recent statement. The police chief added that hotel records showed Wright had checked in alone and was due to check out on March 13, but staff reported he never completed the checkout process.
A source from the hotel revealed that Wright had not received any visitors during his stay. "He would go out at night like other guests," the source said. "There was nothing unusual until we could not find him when he was due to check out."
Ongoing Investigation and Autopsy Results
The case remains under active investigation while authorities await official autopsy results from Vachira Phuket Hospital. Police are particularly interested in determining whether drugs were present in Wright's system at the time of his death. "We cannot confirm the exact cause of death until the autopsy results are released," Chuthong emphasized.
Hotel staff reported that CCTV footage showed Wright moving back and forth in front of the hotel before leaving the area. "His movements eventually led to the location where his body was later discovered," police confirmed. The CCTV footage related to the incident has been included in the case file and cannot be released publicly at this stage of the investigation.
In the weeks preceding his death, Wright had been sharing videos and photos from his time in Phuket on social media. Police have stated that relatives or friends with concerns about the cause of death can contact the Choeng Thale district police station directly for updates on the investigation.
