The creative spirit of Cowbridge is shining brightly once more as the Cowbridge Art Society has returned to the Old Hall with a spectacular new exhibition.
A Celebrated Opening
The event launched last Monday with an official prizegiving ceremony. The guest judge, Schmoo, was in attendance alongside the deputy mayor of Cowbridge, Malcolm Wilson. While several artists were recognised on the night, one award remains up for grabs: the Visitors’ Choice Award. This prize will be decided solely by the general public when they visit the exhibition.
Co-organiser David Robinson expressed his delight at the standard of work on display, stating, "The variety and quality of work this year is exceptional." He went on to highlight the lovely mixture of still life, seascapes, landscapes, and figurative work, confirming there is something for absolutely everyone.
What Awaits Visitors
This exhibition presents a perfect opportunity for those seeking a unique Christmas present, a new piece to brighten their home, or simply a dose of creative inspiration. The society extends a warm welcome to all visitors.
In addition to the art on display, there is also a raffle with exciting prizes to be won. Participants have the chance to win one of two Christmas hampers or a beautiful painting by Jan K. Williams.

The exhibition is open to the public from Monday to Saturday, between 10am and 4pm. It will close for the final time on Saturday, December 13.
