Three local creatives with distinctly different artistic styles are joining forces next month for a new collaborative exhibition at Rosie's Gallery in Maghull. The event, titled Three Artists, One Vision, will run from September 19 to September 27 and is free to attend.
The display brings together Northern social history, contemporary abstraction, and mixed-media designs under one roof. It follows the success of a larger showcase held at the same venue earlier this summer, allowing each creative to present a much broader selection of their work.
Northern Heritage Through Art
Former builder Frank Davidson captures the spirit of Northern industrial life through nostalgic scenes of Victorian streets, football grounds, and working-class communities. Influenced by famous artists like L S Lowry, his paintings celebrate the warmth, humour, and resilience of everyday local people.
Prints produced directly from his original paintings are issued in small limited runs of just 80 copies to help preserve regional heritage.
Bold Geometry and Mixed Media
Artist Kev Earle works across acrylics, mixed media, and print to create a distinctive style that combines realism with bold geometric forms. His pieces draw inspiration from music, mathematics, social issues, and the changing Merseyside landscape to encourage conversation among viewers.
Liverpool-based creative Diane Moore works across a wide range of styles, moving from contemporary abstracts to traditional still life and landscape scenes. Alongside her traditional painting practice, she creates embroidered textile art using fabric manipulation as well as handcrafted jewellery.
Meet the Artists
Organisers hope the nine-day collaborative display will give visitors the opportunity to meet the trio, discover the stories behind their creations, and buy original work. The exhibition will take place at Rosie's Gallery, Sefton Meadows Garden Centre, Sefton Lane, Maghull, and entry is free.
