Great Yorkshire Show 2026: Celebrating Inclusion and Rural Traditions
Great Yorkshire Show 2026: Inclusion and Rural Traditions

The Great Yorkshire Show is set to return next month, promising an unforgettable experience for all visitors. The event will take place at the Great Yorkshire Showground from Tuesday, July 14 to Friday, July 17, 2026. From champion livestock and rural traditions to shopping, food, and family fun, the show celebrates everything people love about the countryside.

Embracing Inclusion and Community

The 2026 Great Yorkshire Show will focus on inclusion, community, and belonging. Organisers are proud to welcome Out Together to the event for the first time. This pioneering charity helps tackle loneliness and builds connections for the LGBTQ+ community by creating safe spaces across even the most remote locations.

Feelgood Friday: Dance and Music

On 'Feelgood Friday', visitors will be encouraged to get up on their feet for line dancing sessions throughout the day with Boot Scootin’ Cow Girls from The Dance Studio Leeds. The Sheep Shearing Stage will also host performances by Knaresborough-based Knot Another Choir. Whether you’re dancing, singing or simply soaking up the atmosphere, it’s guaranteed to leave you smiling.
