The seaside town of Rhyl is preparing for one of its most significant events, as it gears up for the annual Pride celebrations on Saturday, June 20. Thousands are expected to attend the free event, which will take place across three town centre venues: Ellis Vaults, The Local, and The George. Each venue will offer its own schedule of entertainment throughout the day.
Main Stage and Hosts
The main stage at Ellis Vaults will be presented by The Royal Serenity, while Hannah Poppey will host activities at The Local, and Jodie Fletcher will oversee proceedings at The George. Venue manager Kyran Jones said: "Pride celebrations continue to play an important role in bringing communities together, promoting acceptance and creating spaces where people can feel safe to be themselves. We hope the event will not only be a memorable celebration but also help showcase everything Rhyl has to offer."
Performers and Attractions
A full line-up of performers has been announced, featuring Noisewave, Ella-Grace, Britain's Got Talent finalists Han and Fran, the Royal Serenity Queens, Sarah Price, and more. Beyond the stages, attendees can experience a variety of attractions, including stilt walkers, fire dancers, and live party anthems in the beer garden, generating an exciting atmosphere across the town.
Family-Friendly Focus
Organisers have emphasised the event's family-friendly approach, with both Ellis Vaults and The Local welcoming children from 12pm until 7pm. Families are invited to participate in the celebrations and experience the diverse range of entertainment. Admission to the event is entirely free, ensuring everyone has the chance to join in the festivities.
