For one weekend only, the historic lake at Compton Verney in Warwickshire opens for wild swimming, starlit swims, paddleboard yoga, floating meditation, and SUP sound baths with singing bowls. The event also features a sauna, cold plunge experience, and moon yoga, set in the stunning Capability Brown landscape.
The wellbeing activities are part of ALSO Festival, taking place from July 10 to 12. The festival includes live music, comedy, and food experiences such as the River Cottage Long Table Woodland Lunch, Bingo Brunch, and Rum Shack cocktails.
Festival Theme and Programming
A spokesman said: "ALSO is the award-winning Warwickshire festival set in a stunning Capability Brown landscape for festival-goers to explore, swim and relax and let ideas run wild. Our 13th edition turns the wheel to the theme: Oh Fortuna!, which will have us playfully exploring luck, chance and encounters and asking how much of our fortune is already written and how much luck we can make ourselves."
"Truly experiential, ALSO26 gives you so many chances to spin the wheel and choose your own adventure in our most spectacular edition yet. Expect eccentric, playful, thought-provoking programming. From life-enhancing ideas and big bands on the main stage, long table dinners, tastings and demos, creative masterclasses and wonderful workshops elsewhere."
"With intimate talks by day, clever comedy and music by night and a half-mile-wide lake offering swimming, paddleboarding and an in-festival sauna and cold plunge, enjoy a magical summer weekend at ALSO26. Dive in and start curating your weekend."
