Channel 4's new drama Tip Toe is set to debut tonight, featuring an impressive star-studded cast that includes icons from The Walking Dead and Coronation Street.

Channel 4's Tip Toe premieres this evening and boasts an impressive lineup of recognisable faces. Crafted by It's A Sin and Doctor Who icon Russell T Davies, Tip Toe charts the relationship between gay bar proprietor Leo (portrayed by Alan Cumming) and his troubled neighbour Clive (David Morrissey). While they have existed relatively peacefully alongside one another for 15 years, a transformation begins to unfold, causing them to become deadly enemies.

Leo - Alan Cumming
Award-winning performer Alan Cumming has appeared in popular shows and films including the Spy Kids franchise, The Good Wife, X2, and Instinct. More recently, Cumming has become most closely linked with presenting the American version of the popular game show The Traitors. In Tip Toe, he portrays Leo, the vivid, funny, and dynamic bar proprietor of Spit and Polish in the centre of Manchester's Gay Village.
Clive - David Morrissey
Clive, who is characterised as unsmiling and troubled, is an electrician and Leo's neighbour for the past 15 years. He is portrayed by actor David Morrissey, renowned for playing villain The Governor in The Walking Dead, DCS Ian St Clair in Sherwood, and journalist Stephen Collins in State of Play.
Marie - Pooky Quesnel
Assuming the role of Marie, Clive's wife and mother of their two sons, is actress Pooky Quesnel. She has featured in Moonflower Murders, Ralf and Katie, The Confessions of Frannie Langton, Doctors, and The A Word.
Stephanie - Elizabeth Berrington
Actress Elizabeth Berrington will be recognised for starring as Ruby Fry in Waterloo Road, Dawn Stevenson in The Syndicate, and Dagon in Prime Video's Good Omens. She takes on the role of Stephanie, the fiercely devoted best friend of newly single Leo.
Melba - Paul Rhys
Melba, who is fondly nicknamed Peach Melba, is not only a friend of Leo's but also a familiar face at his thriving gay bar Spit and Polish. Welsh actor Paul Rhys has appeared in acclaimed productions including A Discovery of Witches, Victoria, The Assets, Borgia, and Being Human.
George - Jackson Connor
Up-and-coming talent Jackson Connor steps into the pivotal role of Clive's youngest son George. Connor's other credits include an unnamed soldier in SAS Rogue Heroes and Sam in children's show Phoenix Rise.
Saul - Joseph Evans
George's elder brother Saul is portrayed by actor Joseph Evans. He played Jackson Hodge in Coronation Street in 2023, Viktor in The Map That Leads To You, and the lead singer in the newly released film Finding Emily.
Eddie - Andy Moss
Actor Andy Moss is perhaps best known for playing Rhys Ashworth in Channel 4's Hollyoaks for seven years until his surprise departure in 2014. Since leaving the soap, he has appeared in Doctors as Paul Cuthbert and Deep Cuts as Jimmy Heywood. Moss is set to play a character called Eddie, but no further details have been released just yet.
Curtis - Charlie Condou
Curtis, who is Leo's former partner in Tip Toe, is brought to life by actor Charlie Condou. Coronation Street viewers will know him best as Marcus Dent, though he has also taken on roles in You, Me and the Apocalypse as Father Alphonse, ITV's Unforgotten as Simon, and Holby City as Ben Sherwood.
Zee Malone - Iz Hesketh
Zee Malone is a transgender woman who works at Leo's Spit and Polish bar in Manchester's Gay Village. She is portrayed by actress Iz Hesketh, who previously appeared as Kitty Draper in Hollyoaks and Valerian in Disney Plus' Renegade Nell.
Diane - Denise Welch
The details of Diane's role in Tip Toe have been kept tightly under wraps, though she will be portrayed by actress and television personality Denise Welch. As well as being a familiar face on ITV's Loose Women, she has appeared as Natalie Barnes in Coronation Street, Steph Haydock in Waterloo Road, and Trish Minniver in Hollyoaks.
