Aston Villa have officially unveiled their new adidas home kit for the upcoming 2026/27 season. The Villans will debut the kit at the start of the next campaign as they prepare for a return to the UEFA Champions League, following their triumph in this season's Europa League.
Design Inspiration from the 1960s
The club has stated that the new design draws inspiration from the team's kits of the 1960s. According to Aston Villa, "The kit honours the more unconventional claret and blue concepts from that era with a clean and elegant look, creating a departure from the raglan sleeved home shirts that Villa have worn in the modern era, usually finished with gold detailing."
Advanced Technology for Performance
The authentic jersey is engineered with CLIMACOOL+ technology, which allows players to remain cool and comfortable while on the pitch. This technology includes ventilation features that enable air to flow naturally over the body, along with sweat-wicking and quick-drying fabric to keep players dry throughout the match.
Kit Details and Color Scheme
The new shirt features a collar in a 'glow blue' shade with claret trim. The adidas stripes on the arms are also in glow blue, matching the adidas logo and the lion and other detailing on the club badge. The accompanying shorts and socks will be in the same glow blue color.
Availability and Purchase Information
The 2026/27 home kit will go on sale on Thursday, May 28, from 9am at Villa Park, the club's Bullring store, and online via Villa's official store and adidas. The new front-of-shirt sponsor has yet to be confirmed, as the current deal with Betano concludes this summer.
Fans can purchase the new home kit from Villa's official online store.
