Cadbury Launches New Golden Dipped Twirl Bar: Rumours Confirmed
Cadbury Golden Dipped Twirl: Rumours Confirmed

Cadbury has officially confirmed that rumours of a new Twirl variation are true, announcing the launch of the Golden Dipped Twirl. This latest addition to the Twirl family features the classic flaky milk chocolate centre, now enveloped in a smooth layer of golden, caramelised white chocolate, offering a twist on the original.

First New Twirl Variation in Nearly a Year

The Golden Dipped Twirl marks the first new variant of the iconic chocolate bar in almost twelve months. Previous limited-edition releases have included orange, caramel, and mint flavours. In May 2025, Cadbury introduced the White Dipped Twirl, which quickly became a fan favourite, with many noting its resemblance to the discontinued Cadbury Snowflake.

Official Announcement and Nationwide Availability

A spokesperson for the brand confirmed the news, stating: “Yes, the rumours are true! Some of our eagle-eyed fans may have spotted that the new limited-edition Cadbury Twirl Golden Dipped bars are coming. We’ll be unveiling the bars nationwide later this year, so keep your eyes peeled for further details on the launch – we promise, it will be worth the wait!”

The announcement follows the successful rollout of the Twirl White Dipped, which combined Cadbury’s signature milk chocolate swirls with a smooth white chocolate coating. Katya Savelieva, brand manager for Twirl at Mondelez International, commented at the time: “With smooth white chocolate surrounding our iconic milk chocolate swirls, the new Twirl White Dipped is an indulgence you won’t want to miss – grab it as soon as you can and experience Twirl like never before!”

Previous Twirl Variations

Cadbury has released a variety of Twirl flavours in recent years, including mint, orange, and international editions such as Caramilk and coffee flavours. Some of these have been available through retailers like B&M, generating excitement among chocolate enthusiasts.

Fan Reactions

The announcement has sparked enthusiasm on social media platforms. On Reddit, one chocolate fan wrote: “This should not be limited. I love it.” Another user commented: “I’m visiting London in a few months so I’ll look for this bar when I’m there!!” However, not all feedback has been entirely positive. A third user expressed scepticism, saying: “Further enforces my belief that chocolate bar producers are trying to sell cheaper, non-cocoa products at the price of real chocolate.”

Despite mixed opinions, the Golden Dipped Twirl is expected to be a popular limited-edition treat when it hits shelves nationwide later this year.
