The Original Patty Co. has opened a new food kiosk at Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierley Hill, bringing a taste of Jamaica to shoppers. Located near Boots on the lower floor, the outlet serves a variety of Jamaican patties priced at £3.50, including lamb, beef, chicken, cheesy beef, and vegetable options. Gourmet patties, such as curry mutton, are available for £3.75.
Meal Deals and Loaded Coco Bread
Customers can upgrade a standard patty to a meal deal for £6, which includes any canned drink and a pack of crisps. Gourmet patty meal deals are priced at £6.50. The kiosk also offers loaded coco bread for £5.50, with choices of fried chicken, brown stewed beef, brown stewed chicken, or oxtail.
The Original Patty Co. celebrated its grand opening on Saturday, expressing gratitude to shoppers in a social media post: "Merry Hill! We loved every bit of the grand opening of our new kiosk at Merry Hill shopping centre on Saturday. We had amazing support and was pleased to do some big giveaways throughout the day too. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and to everyone who will support us moving forward. Merry Hill we're just getting started."
Recent Additions to Merry Hill Food Scene
The opening follows the launch of Ben & Jerry's first UK ice cream shopping centre kiosk near Pandora. Additionally, the Italian eatery Napoli in Eat Central is being transformed into Slice House, an artisan pizza joint. Other food outlets at Merry Hill include Ask Italian, Big Smoke, Burger & Sauce, Burrito Kitchen, Five Guys, McDonald's, Nando's, Pizza Hut, and Slim Chickens. Merry Hill has been approached for comment on the new opening.
