MAFS Australia's Steven Regrets Rachel Split in Video

Married At First Sight Australia star Steven Danyluk has expressed deep regret over his split from Rachel Gilmore in a candid new video. The couple left the experiment together at Final Vows, but their relationship ended shortly after.

Heartfelt Confession

In a TikTok video posted to his followers, Steven said: 'Things didn't end how I'd hope. And there's big regret, massive regret, I know I've lost something special.' He added that he would 'give anything up to relive those moments and redo it all' because 'when something is genuine you don't realise how special and rare it is until it's not there in front of you anymore.'

Rachel's Perspective

Rachel, however, has been more critical. She admitted the breakup was heartbreaking but watching the show back made her realise she was more invested than Steven. She claimed his idea of 'making an effort' was offering to come over at 10pm to watch a movie. Rachel said she was relieved she didn't relocate to Sydney for him, stating: 'It was Steven’s life, and I had to adapt to it. He wasn’t ready for a relationship.'

Despite the split, Steven noted there is 'still a lot of respect' between them, as feelings don't just disappear. He is now focusing on becoming a 'better man' and learning from the experience.
