Ming Moon, a beloved buffet and karaoke restaurant in Wolverhampton, is closing its doors for good today after 20 years of service. The owners announced the closure on social media, prompting an outpouring of emotional responses from loyal customers who described themselves as 'gutted' and called the shutdown the 'end of an era'.
Final Day of Service
The restaurant, known for its all-you-can-eat Asian dishes served at food stations, opened for one last time on May 9, 2026. It served customers from midday to 3pm and again from 5pm to 10.30pm, giving regulars a final chance to enjoy their favorite meals.
Owner's Statement
While the owners did not explain their decision to close, they shared a heartfelt message: "After 20 incredible years, we say goodbye to Ming Moon Wolverhampton. From 2006 to 2026, it has been a place filled with celebrations, family gatherings, and unforgettable memories. We are truly grateful for every visit and every moment shared with us."
