The opening date for the highly anticipated Popeyes restaurant at Merry Hill Retail Park has been announced. The New Orleans-inspired fast food chain will open its doors at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, continuing what the company calls its 'biggest regional investment of the year.'
Menu Highlights
Popeyes is famous for its chicken sandwich that 'broke the internet' upon its US launch. The Merry Hill location will offer the full menu, including the signature 'Shatter Crunch' chicken, Popeyes chicken sandwich, wings, tenders, and wraps. Sides include Southern Biscuits and Cajun gravy. New additions like the Honey BBQ range—a smoky-sweet twist on Louisiana flavors—will also be available.
Opening Day Giveaways
To celebrate the opening, Popeyes is offering generous giveaways. The first four customers arriving on foot will receive free Deluxe Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year. Similarly, the first four cars in the Popeyes Park & Serve bays will win the same prize. The first 50 customers in line will get exclusive UK merchandise, and the first 100 will receive a free Deluxe Chicken Sandwich.
