West End Stars Perform Les Misérables Concert for Charity

The last few tickets are available for a fundraising musical theatre concert at Brecon Cathedral. 'I Dreamed a Dream', featuring stars from the West End production of Les Misérables, will take place on Wednesday, May 20 and promises to be an unforgettable evening.

Charlotte Kennedy, Ashley Stillburn, Elizabeth Tiley, Sophie Baker and Morgan Westcott, accompanied by Musical Director Geraint Owen, will perform some of the most iconic and emotionally charged songs ever written.

The event is being held in support of Calon Hearts, a Welsh charity dedicated to preventing young sudden cardiac death through heart screening, CPR training and the placement of defibrillators in communities.

Every week in the UK, at least 12 young people die from undiagnosed heart conditions, often with no symptoms or warning signs. Events like this help support the charity's lifesaving work across Wales.

Sharon Owen, from Calon Hearts, said: “This is going to be a really special evening in a beautiful setting. Every ticket sold helps us reach more people with screening, training and defibrillators.”

Tickets for I Dreamed A Dream at Brecon Cathedral cost £29.50 from TicketSource. Read all the latest news from in and around Brecon, Powys.
