Aston Villa are on the verge of confirming the arrival of Alejandro Garnacho on loan from Chelsea, with a conditional obligation to buy the former Manchester United winger. Unai Emery has long admired Garnacho, who produced one of his best performances for Chelsea at Villa Park back in March. However, displays of that quality were few and far between following his move from United less than a year ago. Pervis Estupinan is Villa's priority target to replace Lucas Digne, who is heading to Paris Saint-Germain. A new right-back is also required after Andres Garcia left for Getafe on loan. Joao Palhinha is a loan target after Amadou Onana suffered an ACL injury at the World Cup and is expected to be sidelined for all, or at least the majority, of next season.
