Year 11 students at Chase High School in Westcliff-on-Sea returned to collect their GCSE results this summer, with the cohort achieving a notable 10% increase in Grade 4 and above in triple science subjects.
Top-performing students at Chase High School
Among the highest achievers were Betsy Hosking, who secured six Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and a Distinction*, and Arihant Sampath, who earned seven Grade 9s and two Grade 8s. Yasmin Daodu achieved one Grade 9, six Grade 8s, two Grade 7s and a Distinction*.
Elvins Jansons obtained one Grade 9, five Grade 8s and three Grade 7s, while Oyinlolaoluwa Kola-Laguda earned three Grade 8s, four Grade 7s and three Grade 6s. Lexie Ellett received one Grade 9, six Grade 7s, two Grade 6s and one Grade 5, and Alex Howard achieved one Grade 9, one Grade 8, three Grade 7s, three Grade 6s and two Grade 5s.
