Jeremy Clarkson Reveals Aggressive Prostate Cancer Diagnosis on Clarkson's Farm
Jeremy Clarkson Diagnosed with Aggressive Prostate Cancer

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed he has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The 66-year-old former Top Gear host broke the news to his farm manager Kaleb Cooper and land agent Charlie Ireland during the latest episode of Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime.

Diagnosis and Reaction

Clarkson explained that he was diagnosed last summer after a medical check-up. In the show, he said: "I have got cancer. I had a medical, remember, back in May? I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer, and it is aggressive." He added: "The prostate, 10 per cent of it is dead. The 10 per cent where the cancer is."

Cooper, visibly emotional, said: "I do not like this." Clarkson replied: "I was not thrilled." However, the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host noted that the cancer was caught really early. He added: "If I had not got myself checked out and they had not caught the problem early, this could well have been my last harvest. It is only because they did catch it early, there is every hope that I will be harvesting this farm for many, many years to come."

Hospital Stays and Treatment

The new season begins and ends with Clarkson in a hospital bed. He had previously received treatment for a heart scare. Clarkson said: "So we started season five in a hospital bed and here we are at the end of season five, I am back in a hospital bed. Some of the treatment has gone awry, let us say. I will probably be here for a little while."

Addressing his fans, he said: "What I wanted to say was: if this is all successful, I will see you for season six. And if it is not, I will not. Take care, everyone."
