Kelly Brook is first I'm A Celeb 2025 star confirmed

The first celebrity contestant for the highly anticipated 25th series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has been officially confirmed after being photographed arriving in Australia.

Kelly Brook touched down at Brisbane Airport, ready for the ITV show's launch this coming Sunday. The model and TV personality revealed she has some personal business to attend to before entering the jungle camp.

Family First for Jungle-Bound Kelly

Speaking to the Mirror after her long flight, Brook shared her immediate plans. "I am going to miss my dog Teddy and my husband Jeremy, and my food in general," she said. "I am looking forward to seeing my Auntie Sheila and distant cousin - I haven't seen her for a long time."

When contemplating her upcoming jungle stay, she admitted, "I am not sure how I feel about sleeping under the stars - hopefully I will have a spare room." She also expressed excitement about seeing native Australian wildlife, specifically mentioning koalas and kangaroos.

A Star-Studded Lineup Awaits

Brook will not be alone in her adventure. A host of other famous faces are preparing to jet Down Under, creating one of the most diverse casts in the show's history.

The anticipated lineup includes:

  • Emmerdale's Lisa Riley
  • Former EastEnder Shona McGarty
  • YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle (Angryginge)
  • Musician Martin Kemp
  • Comedian Ruby Wax
  • TV presenter Alex Scott
  • Jack Osbourne

They are expected to be joined by comedian Eddie Kadi, rapper Aitch, and presenter Vogue Williams. ITV is scheduled to officially reveal the full lineup next week, with two personalities set to join the jungle as late arrivals.

A Dramatic U-Turn on Jungle Fears

Kelly Brook's decision to enter the jungle marks a complete reversal of her previous stance. In 2018, she declared on her Heart radio programme that there would be "a million" things she'd rather do than head into the wilderness.

"I don't want to eat eyeballs or sheep testicles and all the things they have to eat on there," she explained at the time. "Even if I had a huge tax bill and I had to pay it really urgently, I still wouldn't do it."

She maintained this reluctance in a 2022 interview, stating, "It's never appealed to me! It's never ever ever appealed to me." She referenced fellow campmate Mark Wright, noting that while he loved his experience, she "couldn't think of anything worse."

Ant and Dec are set to return as presenters for this milestone 25th anniversary series. An insider revealed that producers are pulling out all the stops to ensure this series is the most memorable yet.

The confirmation comes amidst intense speculation about the celebrity roster. The Mirror also reported that LBC presenter Nick Ferrari withdrew from talks with ITV after his employers at Global pledged to match his substantial jungle fee to keep him on air.
