Hyndburn Borough Council has registered a series of planning applications between Monday, May 4 and Sunday, May 10. The submissions include a mix of commercial conversions, residential developments, and householder extensions across the borough.

Full Planning Applications

A full application proposes the change of use of the first floor to C1 (hotel) while retaining the ground floor as a pub (Sui Generis), along with an outdoor beer garden and altered parking at 2 Station Road, Huncoat.

Another full application seeks a change of use of a warehouse (Use Class B8) into five residential apartments (Use Class C3) at the rear of 7-17 Dutton Street, Accrington.

Householder Applications

Householder applications include the erection of a single-story side extension at 5 Blackburn Road, Rishton; a single-storey side extension to create additional living accommodation at 16 Winterley Drive, Accrington; and a single-storey rear extension at 61 Avenue Parade, Accrington.

Discharge of Conditions

A discharge of conditions application has been submitted for 2 Lane End Cottages, Sough Lane, Guide, concerning conditions 3 (Materials), 4 (Landscaping), 6 (Cycle Store), and 7 (Bat & Bird Box) under planning permission 11/25/0460.

Non-Material Amendment

A non-material amendment has been requested for full planning permission reference 11/25/0399 to remove reference to a superseded plan at Mount St James, Knuzden.
