The 'Ticket to Ride' experience takes place on Saturday, July 11, with standard return tickets starting at £62.50 per person — just £20 more than a conventional Saturday service on a crowded commuter train.

Passengers on the steam special can enjoy exclusive partner discounts at two of Liverpool's landmark attractions: The Beatles Story at the Albert Dock, and the Mersey Ferry, the historic cross-river service that has been operating since the 1800s. The journey departs from Birmingham New Street, hauled by a vintage steam locomotive at mainline speed, calling at several stations along the way.
