Easyjet has issued an important message for passengers travelling in July, August, and September. The airline has confirmed a summer-long programme of partnerships to mark Pride 2026.
The airline, which operates flights from Birmingham Airport (BHX), has pledged to support LGBTQ+ communities across the UK and Europe through a series of events, sponsorships, and community collaborations.
Running from June to September, the initiative will see Easyjet collaborate with Pride organisations and advocacy groups across Europe. The goal is to broaden access to Pride celebrations while promoting inclusion, representation, and intersectionality.
Key events and partnerships
From July 3 to July 5, airline staff will join Aviation Pride UK (APUK) at this year’s Pride in London parade. This is part of Easyjet's ongoing partnership with the organisation to support LGBTQ+ inclusion within the aviation industry.
From July 9 to August 8, Easyjet is sponsoring the Seniors Concert at WorldPride Amsterdam. This initiative helps create an inclusive and accessible space for older members of the LGBTQ+ community to come together, celebrate, and participate in the wider festivities.
From September 9 to September 15, the airline is supporting the Global Black Pride Scholarship Programme. This helps Black LGBTQI+ activists, advocates, and community leaders from around the world travel to and participate in the conference, human rights discussions, and celebration.
Statements from Easyjet representatives
Oliver Henry, Head of Inclusion and Wellbeing at Easyjet, said: “At Easyjet, we are committed to championing inclusion for our people, our customers, and the communities we serve. Pride is both a moment of celebration and an opportunity to support meaningful access and participation.”
He added: “Through these partnerships, we’re proud to help make Pride more accessible, whether that’s supporting local community events, enabling travel to global celebrations, or helping ensure people of all ages and backgrounds can take part in ways that feel safe and welcoming.”
Ian Ashton, Chair of Easyjet’s Fly with Pride Network and cabin crew, said: “Pride Month is an important opportunity to celebrate our LGBTQI+ colleagues, while also recognising that inclusion is something we champion throughout the entire year.
