A man was rushed to hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Dovedale Road near Sedgley late Sunday evening. The incident occurred when the car he was driving struck a tree along the residential A-road, just over the Wolverhampton border.

West Midlands Ambulance Service received reports of the collision at approximately 9:27 PM on Sunday, July 19. Paramedics arrived at the scene to find the driver, a man, who was assessed for injuries. He was subsequently taken to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley for precautionary checks.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed: "We were called to reports of a car which had collided with a tree on Dovedale Road at 9.27pm last night (Sunday). One ambulance attended and assessed the driver, a man, who was conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for precautionary checks."
Road Details
Dovedale Road is a busy residential street lined with trees, connecting traffic between Sedgley and Coseley. The crash caused disruption but the road has since reopened. The condition of the driver remains undisclosed.
